2273307 - BI 4.x: Data Federator NW/BW connector supportability in SAP BO BI Platform

Symptom

Bydesign behavior is faced when using Data Federator connector to retrieve data from SAP BW.

  • Performance is not the best when working with several functions which being executed on BO level.
  • There are default functions, aggregation functions which can not be pushed to the BW side when running a query.
    E.g functions like: COUNT, AVG are executed on BO level.
