The support team does not provide access to provisioning for partners; this access needs to be requested directly by the customer following the process outlined in this KBA.

  • If you wish to request, revoke or unlock a Provisioning Access, please access the HCM Cloud Operations Portal:
    Go to SUPPORT > CONTACT US
    In summary, select Provisioning Account Issue
    Fill all the other details & Submit.

  • If you have a valid SAP ID and are experiencing issues logging in, you can go to PartnerEdge Portal, and click on the "Get Help" button on the bottom right of the page and fill out the "Contact form" or start a "Live Chat": 





  • Kindly note that the Support Team does not have the authority/permissions to reset password for Provisioning Access.

What provisioning will give access to the consultant/partner?

  • Consultant has provisioning access, but not support access:
    • Partner will be able to do configuration changes on provisioning, like:
      • Change Scheduled Jobs;
      • Enable and disable features;
      • Change SSO settings;
      • Change other settings available on provisioning;
    • They will not be able to do any changes that require access to front end, like Permissions, user data (except if they use schedule jobs to import data), proxy rights, between other data and settings available only on front end.
  • Consultant has provisioning and support access:
    • They might be able to do something depending on the permissions that the user that they have support access have;
  • Consultant does not have provisioning but has support access:
    • Partner will not be able to do anything as support access is only accessible from provisioning.

How to revoke the access?

  • As of b1708 you'll be able to manage the list via self-service tool. See 2519639 - Manage Provisioning Access Tool in SAP SuccessFactors, as well as the guide titled Managing Instance Access.

Can a customer have access to provisioning?

  • Provisioning access is not allowed for customers. Only authorized Partners and Consultants can request for provisioning access.
  • To have direct visibility and control over who can access the instance via provisioning, you can now avail of the 'Manage Provisioning Access Tool' feature. For more details, go through the KBA "2519639 - Manage Provisioning Access Tool in SAP SuccessFactors - SAP for Me".

How to get  approval of a Customer Instance Access Request?

  • For queries regarding approval of a Customer Instance Access Request, you can go to PartnerEdge Portal, and click on the "Get Help" button on the bottom right of the page and fill out the "Contact form" or start a "Live Chat.
  • For consult CAR application status go to HCM Cloud Operations Portal.

Which Partners are eligible to submit Customer Instance Access Requests (CAR) to get provisioning access?

  • SAP PartnerEdge Sell Partners with Product Authorization for Human Capital Management.
  • SAP PartnerEdge Service Partners with a minimum of 3 Solution Consultant certified for Human Capital Management.
  • SAP PartnerEdge Run Partners with Authorization for SAP Run Cloud.
  • Global Services Partners – GSSPs.

Can non-certified partners have access to provisioning?

No, the partner must have the respective certifications required for the Solution modules being implemented under the S-user submitting the CAR. For any questions about your certifications, visit the Training Help Center to find your Local Education Center contact details.

 
Is the above solution applicable for NS2 customers?
