2274746 - BPC MS 10.0 Error when running an Import Package

Symptom

  • When running an Import package the message below is received:

"The connection type "FLATFILE" specified for connection manager "{A7072910-C7DC-4688-8E53-7E9B14884AB7}" is not recognized as a valid connection manager type. This error is returned when an attempt is made to create a connection manager for an unknown connection type. Check the spelling in the connection type name"

  • This is affecting various users using different transformation/data files.
  • Other packages are not affected.
