2274749 - Software Update Manager (SUM) Error in the phase: SHOW-VALIDATION-RESULT

Symptom

Upgrade using Software Update Manager (SUM) stops with error in phase SHOW-VALIDATION-RESULT when the download directory is created on a Network Share.

[Error ]: The following problem has occurred during step execution: com.sap.sdt.util.diag.DiagException: Validation of deployment queue completed with error: com.sap.engine.services.dc.api.deploy.
ValidationException: [ERROR CODE DPL.DCAPI.1033] ValidationException.Reason: [ERROR CODE DPL.DC.3084] There are no deployment items admitted for deployment.com.sap.engine.services.dc.api.deploy.
