How to configure HRIS Sync Mappings in Employee Central using Manage Business Configuration.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Business Configuration > Select any portlet (say Person Info portlet);

       2. Suppose you need to sync Birth Name field value from Person Info portlet to a custom field in Employee Information portlet in Talent Profile(or Employee Profile) page;

• Click on Details beside ‘Birth Name’ field;
• Select a field (say custom11) to which the ‘Birth Name’ needs to be mapped to;
• Save.

       3. You can rename the custom11 field to Birth Name by navigating to Employee Profile > custom11;

       4. Enable the custom11 field by navigating through Admin Center > Configure Employee Files;

       5. New changes to the Birth Name field in Person Info portlet (also known Biographical Information portlet) will be synced to the custom field.
