Per business needs, an organization requires customized notifications for some or all items.

1. Go to Learning Administration >
2. Navigate to Learning Activities >
3. Items >
4. Search and open an item >
5. Click the "Email Notifications" tab.

On this page:

• You can view and modify the automatic notifications that the system sends to users, managers, instructors, and other contacts who are associated with a class of the item.

• System-level notification templates are the highest level, and when you modify one, the changes propagate to any related, unedited item or class notification template.

• Item-level notification templates are the second highest level, and when you modify one, the changes propagate to any related, unedited class notification template.

Note: If you add an attachment or modify the subject or message in the body box, then you permanently break the link between the notification and notification template ID. When you modify a system notification template ID, you update every item or class notification message that you have not modified and that uses the associated system notification template ID.
