2275517 - Headlines editing extremely slow

In Headline Designer, it takes several minutes to open an existing headline, and there is a long delay whenever any other action is taken to edit it (e.g. selecting a preview range).

If a headline is configured to capture a full structural hierarchy, for example a full Cost Center tree, it must reprocess hundreds or thousands of nodes whenever something is changed.  It is not designed to work on this scale.

Check the headline to ensure that only selected nodes are included.  If a larger branch or the whole hierarchy is included, exclude the majority.  If Headlines Designer does not allow you to do this, raise a ticket to ask SuccessFactors staff to assist.
