2275989 - Tips on Mounting upgrade DVD's for SUM

Symptom

When performing an upgrade the Software Update Manager stops in the "PREP_INPUT_CHECK/READDATA_EXP" and it

  1. asks "Enter at least the mount point containing Export DVD for product <product>"
  2. shows messages "The requested data Carrier is not mounted on any of the mount points you entered"
  3. and "Could not find suitable DVDs for product <product> required for the procedure"

For example:

  • Enter at least the mount point containing Export DVD for product CRM
  • Enter at least the mount point containing Export DVD for product ERP

  • Enter at least the mount point containing Export DVD for product SRM

or:

  • Could not find suitable DVDs for product ERP required for the procedure
  • Could not find suitable DVDs for product CRM required for the procedure
