2276007 - CI-DS task fails with error: Data source name not found and no default driver specified - SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services

Symptom

  • Error when running task connecting to HANA DB:

ODBC call <(><<)>SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <(><<)>> failed with error:

<(><<)>[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

 [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Invalid connection string attribute>. Use the ODBCDriverSelector (Windows) or

 DSConnectionManager.sh (UNIX) utility in LINK_DIR/bin to configure the

correct version of the driver. If the problem still exists

after selecting the correct version of the driver, notify Customer Support.

  • Connectivity test from datastore in HCI-DS application shows connection as successful.
