2277841 - Ad Hoc or Live Data Report does not respect RBP and Target Population for all available Schemas

Symptom

  • User is able to see complete organization's data while running Ad Hoc / Live Data report.
  • User is able to see other user's data in the report who are not present in the target population of the RBP role assigned to the user.

Environment

  • Ad Hoc Report
  • ORD report based on Live Data

Reproducing the Issue

Create Ad Hoc / ORD report based on Live Data of following schemas:

  • RBP User to Role Report
  • RBP Permission to User Report
  • RBP User to Group Report
  • Succession (Talent Pool v2 based nominations)

User is able to see data of complete organization irrespective of their RBP target population.

Resolution

Currently RBP does not respect the report of following domains and an enhancement request has been raised for the same.

  • RBP User to Role Report
  • RBP Permission to User Report
  • RBP User to Group Report
  • Provisioning setting for SDS do not apply for Succession (Talent Pool v2 based nominations)

Note on Succession (Talent Pool v2 based nominations):

User-based target population for talent pool nominations are not considered in the Talent Pool reporting schema in Adhoc Reporting, because historically adhoc reporting was considered a power user tool. However, in People Analytics – Embedded Edition, the talent pool schemas consider all permissions that also apply in the Succession and Talent Pool module UIs
