2277967 - Software Provisioning Manager error: No suitable database found on server

Symptom

During the target system installation after the "Homogeneous System Copy (MS SQL Server-Specific: Detach/Attach or Backup/Restore)" copy method is selected on the dialog window, the Software Provisioning Manager tool (SWPM, SAP note 1680045) gives an error popup with the following error text:

"No suitable database found on server <DB host>.

SOLUTION: Contact SAP Support"
