Symptom
Calculated Columns based on date fields show invalid dates like 1.1.9999 or similar when looking at the report proxying as a user. This happens with users who are using English_US while proxy into a user which is in English_UK.
Cause
When proxying into a user, the language settings are used from the target user as long you are looking at AdHoc Reports. When looking at Online Report Designer Queries or Reports, this is different.
For the Online Report Designer, SuccessFactors BizX is creating a Single Signe On connection to the Analytics server, carrying over the language settings of the user logged in. It does not carry over the language settings of the proxy. As such, when looking at calculated columns with date fields, the system is trying to calculate a mix of date formats, resulting in a faulty display.
Resolution
As this does not happen for users directly logging in and looking at reports, the easiest solution is to use the target user directly.
You can see the language used in the Online Report Designer when going to the Admin section within ORD.
LMS does not automatically take on the BizX Locale. It needs to be manually made the same, therefore please ensure the locale Bizx and LMS admin language matches.
