2278219 - Variable Pay:Currency View in Variable Pay module not defaulting to Employee Local as designed

The forms are displayed in functional currency despite the Local currency being set as the default currency in the configuration (baseCurrencyView="localCurrencyCentric").

Compensation and Variable Pay

1.Launch VRP worksheets

2.Go to Compensation

3.Open the form and the form is in functional currency(even when opening the first time)

4.The baseCurrencyView attribute was set to Employee Local Currency so the default view should be in local currency

The baseCurrencyView attribute is not used to control the display of currency view on VP form.

It only controls in which currency are you importing basis and other custom fields.

If you want to set "Local Currency" as the default currency displayed on VP form, you can follow below 2 suggestions:
1.Go to the vp form, select "Employee Local Currency" from views.
2.Go to "Edit Properties" page, only check "Currency Views Availability" as "User"

For now,we now only support function currency as default view when you first open the form,if you want to set "local currency" as default currency, you can follow one of our suggestion above.
