Symptom

  • Missing header files (ospublic.h, oserror.h, oscompat.h) after installing Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) / SDK for SAP ASE
  • Missing libsrv.lib and srv.h from $SYBASE/$SYBASE_OCS/lib
  • Unable to locate libsrv.so from unix
  • Unable to find libsybsrv from windows or linux
