2279163 - Connection from Boomi to SAP PI for Successfactors

 Customer is setting up the connections from Boomi to PI for employee central integration.

They have the following queries:

1. Is it possible to Route the connection through a VPN.

2. Is it possible to use a reverse proxy in the DMZ that would forward the connection from Boomi on to PI. Can you advise please?

This will depend on the customers Network Landscape.

1. VPN option is possible as you have to configure the firewall accordingly and PI will act as Reverse Proxy: ( I have attached a screenshot for a clearer illustration of this)

2.  Reverse Proxy: You can install a web dispatcher which will act as a reverse proxy in your local environment to route calls to PI system:

[BOOMI]------>[Firewall]----->[Web Dispatcher(Reverse Proxy)]----->[PI]
