While trying to access Manage Business Configuration, an error is displayed:

Business Configuration is locked. Data models are currently synchronized. Please try again later.

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Business Configuration;
2. Notice the error when Manage Business Configuration page is being loaded.

If BCUI is locked, it can be because Succession Data Model and MDF aren’t in sync. It’s recommended to upload the SDM again and check if BCUI is unlocked. 

In case it is not:

• Please check Synchronize Business Configuration job results and identify which issue has been identified clicking on "Details". After that, please remove the fields that were pointed out in the job results from the Succession Data Model and re-upload it;
• If the job has now been completed without errors and BCUI is still locked, please run the following job: MDF Object Definition to DB SYNC; 2534674
• For information on how to create, schedule, and monitor a job, refer to the Setting Up Jobs section.

Note: when a field is defined in Manage Business Configuration and does not appear in UI even if all permissions are granted, it is possible that the field is not maintained in Succession/Country-Specific Data Model. Please download the Data Models and check. In case it is not maintained, please add the required fields and re-upload Data Model.

Not all job types are available in Scheduled Job Manager. To view a list of job types that support the creation of job requests, go to Job Scheduler Create Job Request and open the Job Type menu. If the job type, you're looking for isn't listed, please contact Product Support.
