2280314 - Renaming Column Headers while using Live Data as the data source in Online Report Designer (ORD) / Canvas reports

While Advanced Reporting data source has an explicit option to rename column headers, Live Data doesn't.
This article explains a work around that allows the renaming functionality, with the help of Calculated columns.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• Online Report Designer

1. From the Menu select Edit then Calculated Columns.
2. Create a new Calculated column with the desired name (e.g Employee Status) and Add the field you would like the data from. For this example, Status.

3. Save and display the Calculated Column.
• 
4. Make sure the New column reflects the desired result by comparing it with the existing field. 
• 
5. You can then Hide the original column and just display the one with the 'New' Header's name.
