2280520 - Historical Matrix Placement Block/ Portlet Not Updated With the Calibrated Ratings - Succession Management

Historical Placement Portlet is not getting updated with the ratings coming from the Calibration Session in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management

1. Proxy as any Manager;
2. Navigate to the People Profile and select any direct report;
3. Depending on where you have the block configured, navigate to Scorecard or Talent Profile;

4. Look for the Historical Matrix Grid block (PERFORMANCE vs. POTENTIAL);

6. The ratings are coming from the calibration session and the Performance (sysoverallperformance) as well as the Potential (sysoverallpotential) are getting updated but the Talent 9-Box Block/Portlet (Historical Matrix Portlet) is not getting updated accordingly;
7. If trying to update any Potential or Performance Portlet manually and saving it, the rating are getting updated in Talent 9-Box Portlet that means calibrated ratings are not getting synchronized;

8. Click on ‘Save’ and refresh the page, Talent 9-Box will be updated;

9. This Issue will happen only when the ratings come from Calibration session.

This is expected behavior. There is an automated job called 'Regenerate Matrix Placement History' that updates the 'Historical Matrix Placement Portlet'. However, if ratings come from the Calibration Session then the automated Regenerate Matrix Placement job does not run automatically.

Contact your Implementation Partner to manually create the job "Regenerate Matrix Placement History" in order to synchronize the Historical Matrix Placement Portlet with the Calibrated ratings.

Note: starting with 2H 2022 Release, customers have also the possibility to directly re-run this job from the Admin Center (prerequisite is that is was previously created at least once from Provisioning).

1. On Admin Center, go to Scheduled Job Manager
2. Click on the tab Job Scheduler
3. On Job Type, select Regenerate Matrix Placement History
4. On Actions, you can click on Run it Now (you will need correct RBP permission, see FAQ below for the pre-requisite)

Note: Users can only directly run this job using "Run It Now" option, it is not possible to schedule this job to a future date.
