A report based on Advanced Reporting appears blank when opened, either in the page designer or in Preview mode, with no indication that any components are loading in.

Cause
Components in Report Designer pages can take up to a few minutes to render, depending on the complexity of the query and the status of the database server. During this time, despite the activity, no loading icon will display.
Resolution
Leave the report page open for 2-3 minutes, in whatever view you have chosen. The components will pop in during that time, fully populated with data.
If no components appear after several minutes, attempt to Validate the page. The validator will provide a list of the components on the page. If there are some, you may simply need to wait longer. If there are none, the page is actually empty.
