2281522 - Spain VAT Return Preview Disabled/Greyed Out

For the Country of Tax Authority: ES - Spain, Preview button is disabled for VAT Return 123 with the Tax Return Status as In Preparation.

123 Refers to VAT return ID

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Tax Management work center.
2. Go to the Tax Returns view.
3. Select the VAT returns subview.

VAT return 123 is displayed with the status "In Preparation," and the Preview button is disabled (greyed out)

1. In the Tax Management work center navigate to the Tax Authorities view.
2. Select the Tax Authority and country Spain and press Edit - Company Tax Arrangements.
3. In the Tax Return Arrangements sub tab for the Tax Return Arrangement ID XYZ, it can be seen that the Electronic Submission indicator is set.

Electronic Submission, this indicator is enabled when the selected tax return type is submitted to the tax authorities electronically or through an electronic file. Since form output is not supported for electronic submissions, the Preview button is disabled.

This is a standard system behavior.
