2281619 - How to upload the deployment files (DFO's) to the CMS Database

Symptom

  • After an install or update, in the event some install actions failed, you may notice that some functionality is not available.
  • For example, an error such as below is logged in install logs,
    [InstallEntDfoWrapper.UploadDFO] UploadDFO Failed [C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\BusinessObjects\setup\packagestemp\BusinessObjects_AuditEventInfo2_DesignStudio_dfo_frag.xml][InstallEntDfoWrapper.UploadDFO]Exception: [The DFO upload process has encountered a problem. Contact SAP technical support. (FWM 20010)].
