2285619 - Tutorial "How to create an ADPlus Trace" [VIDEO]

Symptom

This KBA contains a video about "How to create an ADPlus trace"

Set the "Classic Theme" to the SAP GUI for Windows Options!

If a SAPGUI is crashing, an ADPlus Trace is required.

The simple command for running ADPlus is:

adplus -crash -pn saplogon.exe -quiet -o c:\temp

Please note:

If you receive an error (command "adplus not found or recognized) running the adplus command please try to use the full path of the adplus.exe file.

Depending on your SAP GUI version/Architecture :

32 bit: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Debuggers\x86\adplus.exe" -crash -pn saplogon.exe -quiet -o c:\temp
64 bit: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Debuggers\x64\adplus.exe" -crash -pn saplogon.exe -quiet -o c:\temp
