• The Virtual Learning Service (VLS) is the integration between virtual meeting rooms like WebEx or Adobe Connect and SAP SuccessFactors Learning
• If your company holds training in online meeting spaces like WebEx and Adobe Connect, you can use the Virtual Learning Service (VLS) to connect users directly to the meeting rooms where their training takes place
• When the meeting spaces are connected through VLS, users can open a virtual meeting room by clicking a link in their assignments lists

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

To configure Webex integration:

1. Get sample XML file is available on our Help Portal here (login may be required) which is also the full implementation guide.
2. Configure the file for WebEx (See above link to user guide for additional details)
3. Go to System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LMS_ADMIN > locate the vleEnabled setting and update the value to true
4. Log out of the system and access Learning Administration again
5. Go to System Administration > Configuration > VLS Configuration
6. Click Add New and insert the XML file

• For customers looking to implement Webex with SSO: if WebEx is behind active directory this creates a 2-factor authentication which is currently not supported by SAP
• LMS/Webex integration is based on the Webex super admin credentials added to the VLS configuration file. LMS makes API calls using these admin credentials
• To bypass two-step authentication Webex requires a different API implementation

Note: When trying to implement Webex with SSO a Session Ticket will be required, when an attendee or host tries to access with a password, an error message will appear: VLS Error: Session ticket is required
