2287529 - Msg 10330 after "alter table...modify owner"

Symptom

  • Message 10330 "... permission denied on object ... " may be raised in a specific cross-database login/alias setup, despite the fact that the table ownership was altered by "alter table...modify owner".

  • Object permissions were granted implicitly by granting EXECUTE permission on a stored procedure.
