When proxying as a user, the People Search within the People Profile does not respect Organization Chart Navigation permission and displays all the user hierarchy.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile
Cause
The People Search will only apply the Organization Chart Navigation permission if Role-Based permissions is enabled and if the Company Org Chart feature is enabled. Therefore, if the user only has proxy rights to the Employee Profile, but not to the Organization Chart, this issue will happen.
Resolution
To solve the issue, you should grant proxy rights to the user to both the Employee Profile and the Organization Chart.
