2287648 - How to control "User can Request a Class" field from items using the connector?

A massive item creation is needed and the "User can Request a Class" within the item configuration level must be controlled while creating them.

Using the Item Connector Configuration, it is possible to control it.

1. Go to System Administration >
2. Configuration >
3. System Configuration >
4. CONNECTORS >
5. Search for "item.connector.defaultValue.userRequestsEnabled=": 
   • If set the value to Y: "User can Request a Class" will be enabled as default on items.
   • If set the value to N: "User can Request a Class" will not be enabled as default on items.
6. Make sure that the "Enable User Item Requests" option under "System Administration > Application Administration > User Settings is not flagged.

Important to note:

• It will only work for brand-new items. Updating and/or revising items won't change the value in the item level.
• There is no column needs to be maintained in the connector template.
