2287704 - Error: Enter an account determination profile. Save Failed.

You are creating a new Set of Books in Fine Tune activity: Set of Books and you can see the error message: Enter an account determination profile. Save Failed.

1. Go to the Business Configuration Work center
2. Select Implementation Projects View
3. Select the project and click on Open Activity List
4. Go to Integrate and Extend tab
5. Find the activity Set of Books and open the activity
6. Click on New and select the option Set Of Books from drop down list
7. Navigate to Company Settings tab
8. Here, you have entered the Company and Account Determination Profile. click on Save
9. You can see the error message: Enter an account determination profile. Save Failed.

A company can only use an account determination profile if that profile has been assigned to the country for that company. The assignment of a profile to a country, activates the country-specific account determination within that profile. For example, If your company is located in country - Peru then, the country - Peru must be aqssigned the account determination profile.

In order to asisgn a country to account determination profile, follow the below steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration Work center
2. Select Implementation Projects View
3. Select the project and click on Open Activity List
4. Go to Fine Tune tab
5. Search for the activity: Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination
6. Click on any of the subledger
7. Select an Account Determination Profile
8. Click on Assign Countries to Profile
9. Here, you have to maintain the country
