Symptom
The -m server option provides a way to automatically limit the growth of the transaction log.
This option is convenient, but there is no protection against media failure on the device that contains the database files.
The transaction log is a file that stores all changes to the database. Therefore, when failure occurs after truncation of the transaction log, the complete restoration is to become difficult.
