2288684 - SWPM GUI fails to start

Symptom

When running the SWPM tool on IBMi, the GUI ends immediately after starting with the errors below

  • Connection to SAPinst failed.
    Reason: msg.server.ext.sapinst.connector0002 Network input/output
    exception has occurred: Ein Dateideskriptor verweist nicht auf eine
    offene Datei. java.io.IOException: Ein Dateideskriptor verweist nicht auf
    eine offene Datei.
    Please correct the error condition and restart.
