2288790 - Job Profile Builder Error: Section of Job Profile does not match any section in Job Template

When trying to import content to a Job Profile, the system generates the following error:

Section(type=[SECTIONTYPE], GUID=#) of Job Profile does not match any section in Job Template(name=[JPBTEMPLATENAME], GUID=#).

• The section ID in the import file does not exist in the Job Profile template
• The Job Profile already contains a mapping to a section that was deleted from the Job Profile template (invalid mapping)

The section ID that you filled in the Import File does not exist in the Job Profile template

• Replace the section ID in the import file for the valid one.

The Job Profile already contains a mapping to a section that was deleted from the Job Profile template (invalid mapping)

Remove the invalid mappings to the section that was deleted from the Job Profile template. To do so, we can use "Import and Export Data" (the core Metadata Framework (MDF) option to Import/Export data) using the Purge Type "Full Purge". The "Full Purge" option will overwrite the imported section of only the imported Job Profile(s) and allow us to correct the invalid mappings.

This an option that will overwrite data. SuccessFactors recommends exporting the current mappings to keep a backup.

I. Export a backup of the current mappings:

• Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Exporting Your Job Profile Data Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export

II. Import the data to correct the issue (It is recommended to do this to only ONE Job Profile to verify how the solution will work):

1. Set up an import file containing the mappings of the section type in context. This file should contain all the correct mappings of the section type for the imported Job Profiles (for all sections)
2. Go to Admin Center > Employee Files > Import and Export Data
3. Select Import Data > Select CSV File tab and select the following:
1. Select Generic Object: select the mapping of the Job Profile to the section type you are having the issue with (e.g. Job Profile-longdescription)
2. File: select the file you prepared on step 1
3. Purge Type: Full Purge
4. Key Preference: External Code
4. (Optional) validate the file
5. Select the Import button
