2288990 - Event Reason unavailable for selection

An event reason is unavailable for selection during a Data Change event. Even that the event is active and RBP settings are correct.

Employee Central: Event Reason

The event reason is unavailable because this event reason has "Employee Status" field value "Active". An event reason of type Data Change should not have any value selected for this field.

1. Access Manage Organization, Pay and Job structures
2. Select Event Reason and the needed event reason
3. Take Action -> Make Correction and change the "Employee Status" field value to "No Selection".
4. Now this event reason is available for selection.

Also, see that if there is an association between event reasons and country. If it is there, then you should add the event reason for the respective country in Manage Data > Country.

Note: Make sure that user has permission to the event reason and the event reason is active.
