2291231 - Labels in SuccessFactors Instance displaying Incorrectly with extra text in labels

Symptom

In the instance all labels are incorrectly appearing with Extra text

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into the instance
  2. Navigate to the Homepage
  3. Check the Homepage label
  4. Displays as COMMON_HOME_TAB:Home

Cause

  • The labels display in this way in the instance as English Debug
  • English debug is selected in Options > Change Language.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Options > Change Language
  2. change the language from the English Debug language to required language
  3. the instance should now display without the extra label text. 

The English Debug language is used by SAP Support/Partners for text replacement purposes, To disable the English debug option from Options > Change Language, please contact support and this option will be deactivated.
