2292657 - CRM IC: Different options on how to identify the root cause of a error message

Symptom

The end user gets a very general error message. Sometimes the message contains a hint to contact the system administrator.

For example, in the agent inbox error message

  • "Selected inbox item could not be processed" is shown when interacting with an inbox item in the agent inbox.
  • "Unable to forward inbox item of type xxx with description xxxx' when forwarding an inbox item to another employee or organization.
