2292820 - Error ME347 is issued when changing a Purchase Order if the Contract is not released (but the PO release is possible) - SAP ERP & SAP S/4 HANA

Symptom

It is not possible to change a PO with reference to a contract that is not released. The system issues the error message ME347 - Release orders against contract & not possible (contract not released).

However, it is possible to release the PO e.g. in ME29N even if the contract is not released.
