Symptom
- According to KBA 1918091, to create an Essbase OLAP connection in CMC, it is necessary to copy the JAR files for the Essbase installation to BI platform. After that, Oracle Essbase will be available in the Provider list when creating a new OLAP connection in the CMC
- However, when following the steps as below in the Analysis, edition for OLAP Administrator Guide 4.1, some JAR files cannot be found after just installing Essbase Client

Navigate to <ORACLE_ESSBASE_DIR>\JavaAPI\lib, where <ORACLE_ESSBASE_DIR> is the location of the Oracle Essbase client installation (for example, C:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\JavaAPI\lib\)

For example, for Essbase version 11.1.2.0, copy the following JAR files:
• cpld.jar
• ojdl.jar
• ess_es_server.jar
• ess_japi.jar
