2293013 - Instructor field is appearing blank in the Survey Response report

• Instructor field is appearing blank in the Survey By Individual Response (CSV) and Survey Response (CSV) reports.
• An instructor is associated with item and class.

1. Make sure that an instructor is added to a class and item >
2. This class has been assigned to the user and once the record learning is performed, the survey gets triggered >
3. After completing the survey, either run the Survey By Individual Response (CSV) or Survey Response (CSV) reports >
4. This report contains responses for the questions from the survey, but the instructor field is blank even if the instructor is available for the class and item.

The instructor field is empty due to the fact that at the survey level the questions related to the instructor do not have the proper "Resource Type" set.

This is working as designed.

The instructor field in this report is only used in cases where the question's "Resource Type" is "Instructor".

This is done to differentiate between pages that answer questions for a specific instructor of a class when more than one instructor teaches the class.

In case you want to change the "Resource Type" to "Instructor", please follow the below steps in the Learning admin side:

1. Learning Administration > Content > Surveys >
2. Search and accessed the desired survey >
3. "Questions" tab > Change the "Resource Type" to "Instructor" >
4. Click "Save Draft", then "Publish".
