Symptom

  • sp_passwordpolicy is failing with different error number
  • set role status is enabled or TRUE
  • Message 11176 "Password for role 'role1' has expired. You must change it before you can enable this role"
  • Message 11172 "The role 'role1' is locked. Contact a user with System Security Officer(SSO) role"
