2294530 - Troubleshooting OData filterable selects - SAP Data Services

Symptom

  • An error occurs when reading via OData Adapter datastore using a where clause.
  • Example found in Adapter error log and job execution error log:
    • $select=UnitsInStock,CategoryID,ReorderLevel,ProductID,QuantityPerUnit,ProductName,UnitPrice,Discontinued,SupplierID,UnitsOnOrder
    • $filter= (  Discontinued eq 'false' )
    • Remove message listener for message type [adapter.odata.__STREAM_READER.1].
    • Exception occurs when executing 'begin' method of the adapter operation with ID [1]. Operator 'eq' incompatible with operand types 'System.Boolean' and 'System.String' at position 17.
