2297594 - Parallel queries occasionally hang - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Parallel queries seem to hang indefinitly.
  • When killed and restarted they run normally.
  • "dbcc stacktrace(<parent spid>)" for the parent process shows the stacktrace with the function LePlanRelease().
  • Executing "dbcc stacktrace(<worker spid>)" for all the worker threads leads to one worker stacktrace which contains the function LeGlobalWorkMap::getNextWorkUnit().
