2297768 - 404 NOT FOUND error in PI SOAP Adapter scenario

• You are using SAP Process Integration (PI) to try and consume a SOAP Sender Endpoint from an external system
• You receive the following error:
  404 NOT FOUND
  Cannot process an HTTP request to servlet [MessageServlet] in [XISOAPAdapter] web application.
  [EXCEPTION]
  com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.exceptions.ServletNotFoundException:
  Cannot load the requested servlet
  [XISOAPAdapter/servlet/MessageServlet].

  Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
  com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.CPAException
• In addition, the following URL, http://<server>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet, may fail with the error:
  404 Not Found
  Error: Request cannot be processed.
  Details: Cannot load the requested servlet [XISOAPAdapter/servlet/MessageServlet].
