2298291 - NAF code for LegalEntityFRA contains only numbers

Symptom

When configuring a legal entity for the country of France (LegalEntityFRA) there is an included field "nafCode" which is a Number field.

However an actual NAF Code is (4 digits 1 alpha).

Also, you are unable to change the datatype of these fields due to a system warning.

Environment

  • Successfactors HCM Suite 1602

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Admin Center
  2. Configure Object Definitions
  3. Find: Legal Entity France

Cause

France has 2 revisions for NAF code.  Revision 1 requires digits only.  Revision 2 contains (4 digits + 1 Alpha).

Currently in Successfactors 1602, NAF code is compatibile with Revision 1 only.

Resolution

NAF code Revision 2 compatibility is being considered for future release.

An enhancement is logged with development under ECT-49347

Workaround:

The field 'nafCode' is currently a Number and can not be changed to a String.  A Custom field will have to be added to capture the (4 digits + 1 Alpha).

  1. Admin Center
  2. Configure Object Definitions
  3. Find: Legal Entity France
  4. Take Action -> Make Correction
  5. Add a new String field 'nafCodeRev2'
