If a saved query is displayed in a report, how can selected columns be hidden?
Environment
SuccessFactors Online Report Designer (Detailed Reporting, Advanced Reporting)
Resolution
Assuming the query is displayed in a List Report component, there is no way to hide a column on the page while it remains in the query.
However, there is no reason to keep it in the query if it is not needed. If you edit the component's datasource from within Report Designer, you can remove the unwanted columns from the query altogether and the saved query will not be affected outside of that component.
Even if the query is used in two different components on the same report page, editing and saving it in one table will not affect the other.
