This KBA contains a video about "Migrating an Installationserver to a new Compilation"
The installation of SAP GUI for Windows is delivered on Presentation CD 1. From time to time a new Compilation of that CD is shipped that includes all the patches released so far. Also, new products like the "Automatic Workstation Update Service" are shipped this way. Some of these new products are not delivered within patches so migrating an existing Front-End Installation Server to a newer Compilation is the only way to obtain these new products.
