After setting the home page for an ORD role to Analytical Headlines, attempting to navigate to Analytics -> Analytics within that role causes an unspecified error.
Environment
SuccessFactors Online Report Designer (or Workforce Analytics)
Cause
If Analytical Headlines has not been set up for the instance (and it is a complex process, so if there is any doubt then it probably hasn't) then there will be nothing for the role to navigate to, hence the error.
Resolution
Log in as a user with a different role which can still access Roles Maintenance, and change the home page from Analytical Headlines to any report, or to "KPI Page (Default)" which is in effect a blank page if there is no WFA data present.
If there are no working admin users, raise a ticket to request that the role be edited from the back end.
