US I9 form is exparied at 3/31/2016

New US I9 version is not available

While you may not have access to the I9 form, the public version is easily accessible. You’ll note that it has an expiration date on it of 3/31/2016.

Unless their instance is utilizing a custom form (unlikely) for the I9, we host the current version expiring 3/31/2016. 
In 2015, USCIS proposed a new version, which was out for public review and comment until January 25th. 
At this point no changes have been announced. If USCIS decides to move forward, there will first be another review period lasting 30 days minimum. 
It's a long process – and one that we simply don’t have direction from the federal government on yet.

As a result, we’ve said “June” is when this will be updated – our next major release. But the customer is not out-of-compliance for this, 
there’s simply no new I9 form or no announced I9 changes. The form has expired but of course the government is still going to accept it until a new form is created.
