2307649 - EJB Proxy compile error with Oracle JDK 8 - SAP PB 12.6

Symptom

  • Using Oracle JDK 8 as JDK 7 is no longer under support and SAP JVM cannot be used.  
  • When the PB EJB Proxy is deployed with the Oracle 8 JDK, the following error happens:

Retrieving PowerBuilder Proxies from EJB...
    Generation Errors:  Error: class not found: (
    Deployment Error:   No files returned for package/component 'com.telcordia.transport.mobility.test.TestBean'.   Error code: Unknown.   Proxy was not created.
Done.
 ---------- Finished Deploy of project p_testejb_ejbclientproxy   (3:05:20 PM)

  • Deploying with the PB 12.6 SAP JVM7 deploys correctly.
