Synonym and stopword management via the the hMC does not work when used in conjunction with two-phase indexing. When two-phased indexing is used, synonnyms and stopwords are updated in the offline Solr core (i.e., master_<store>_1) instead of the online core ((i.e., master_<store>_1).
