2308529 - Instructor authorized to teach only one item can be set as primary instructor for other items

- Instructor is authorized to teach one specific item,

- If you select this instructor as a primary instructor for the item that he is not authorized to teach, system does not send any warning message

Learning Management System (LMS)

- Navigate to Learning/Instructor/search for affected instructor

- select "authorized to teach" tab,

- check which item he is authorized to teach

 
- navigate to any SO for other item that the one he authorized to teach and add this instructor as primary instructor

- System doesn't show any warning message that this is not possible

- This situation is expected system behaviour

- Setting someone as authorized to teach one item, does not block him from teaching other item,

- It just block others from teaching item that he is authorized to teach

- If you want to make sure that only this instructor will be available in the list of instructor when selecting instructor for SO, please navigate to:

affected item/more/navigate to "instructor" tab /add this instructor as authorized to teach this item and don't forget to check "Check instructor authorization" checkbox and apply changes

- After this if you navigate to scheduled offering created for this item, only specific instructor will be available in list of instructors

- Instructor can teach scheduled offering that he is not authorized to teach , KBA , LOD-SF-LMS , Learning Management System , Problem
