Resolution

There might be several root causes for this issue:

  1. Please check if the Accrual Rule used for this period (e.g. Hire, Termination or Accrual) has been changed since the last calendar run.
  2. Check if any of the fields used for calculations in the rule (such as FTE or seniority) have suffered changes in job information.
  3. If this is a seniority based rule, check if changes were applied to your Accrual Lookup by Seniority Table recently.
  4. Make sure that the last statement in your rule is the create Time Account.Time Account detailsSAP does not recomment that you use any Set statements after the creation statement. Look at the below rule, which is not supported (the highlighted statement should always be the last).

Note: Troubleshooting the cause could be done by running the 'Time Account Process Simulator' after enabling the 'Business Rule Execution Log' (KBA 2257064) -> Download the Rule trace log to review the details of what value the accrual rule is calculating/posting.
