2310402 - Error messages BM302, BM303, BM304 in MM transactions - SAP ERP & SAP S/4 HANA

Symptom

In different transactions you get one of the following error messages:

  • BM302 'No language-specific unit defined in language &2 for internal unit &1'
  • BM303 'For unit &, language &, no commercial unit is maintained'
  • BM304 'For unit &, language &, no technical unit of measure is maintained'
  • BM302 may also be raised after changing a Purchase Order quantity, the unit of measure shows as '***' in item change log.
